Suicide and Chicken

In the month of august I think, there was a rumour of bird flu. That too in china. But the college management got a chance to lessen the expenditure on food. So chicken was prohibited. After one month when then china government had assured its people about bird-flu, our college management decided to serve us chicken.
That Wednesday while we were running to the mess, I heard a news. That someone committed suicide by hanging himself in godavari hostel in the main campus. I was shocked and so was everyone. That means one of our friends is no more in this world. That means he can't eat chicken today. You can say I m an idiot to think of chicken at that time. But I cant help. I had waited for it the whole month and so did everyone. I thought that he could have died after eating that day’s chicken. I even wonder now, how crazy I was about chicken.
