DAK gets fever due to ghosts

Me, Nikhil, Imtiaz , Arun(we call him DAK. D.Arun Kumar is his name) were the victims of that story for that day. All the three except me were from same room , i.e.ROOM No.31(reverse it . We get 13.That is a bad number.haha. We just programmed our minds to get afraid ). I decided to sleep in their room for that night. 15 minutes after the lights were switched off , I heard some giggles.. someone was laughing. Why?? I slowly got up and saw Imtiaz and Nikhil. Imtiaz was applying fair and lovely(a cosmetic and that one belongs to DAK) on his face. He squeezed out the entire tube and applied all over his face. He saw me and asked me to keep my mouth shut and not to make any noise. I couldn’t understand what he was trying to do. Then he slowly went to DAK’s cot, held a torch under his chin and woke him up suddenly by shaking him to and fro. DAK suddenly woke up, saw his face and shouted so loud that everyone in the room woke up. He was so scared that he went under his cot, closed his eyes and was praying aloud. Imtiaz, Nikhil and me were also a little shocked. We didn’t think that he would be so afraid. He was crying now. Imtiaz ran to the bathroom to wash his face. I put on the light and went near DAK. He was still under the cot. All the 8 members in the room were awake by now. I could still see Nikhil laughing. We went near DAK and asked him what had happened.. he wasn’t able to talk. He wasn’t able to breathe properly. One guy brought a bottle of water.And after drinking that and sitting silently for 15 minutes, he began to tell us what had happened. Imtiaz was back and he kept asking some questions about the appearance of the ghost while DAK was explaining about it. DAK was still shivering. I felt a little guilty. I was about to tell him the truth that it was Imtiaz, not the ghost. But Nikhil stopped me. He said that it would get serious and DAK may even complain to his parents. So I kept quiet. I was feeling sleepy and so was everyone. Slowly one after the other, moved away from DAK’s cot. DAK also went into deep sleep.I slept beside DAK. The next day DAK couldn’t get up. He was suffering from fever. He went to the chief warden and told him about the ghost. He assured that there are no ghosts in this world. But DAK wasn’t ready to believe him. It took him 4 days to get rid of that ghost fever :(
