Screening test

Before I got accustomed to hostel life, the screening test was announced. The first 150 members can get a concession of 5000 rupees in the extra fee which they paid for IIT coaching. I wanted to get into top 50. But I didn't know at least one topic perfectly in math and physics. I had missed many classes due to fever . I had attended all the chemistry classes and so I was confident in that. But something else happened. Screening test was conducted in math and physics but not in chemistry. They were to conduct in chemistry too. But in the last moment they canceled it because they thought that, with chemistry, all those stupids like me can cover the damage done by the previous two tests on math and physics. And we had vectors in physics and I knew nothing about them then.
