GHOSTS-Do you believe in them?

After finishing our IPE (Intermediate public examinations) we got absorbed in IIT preparation. It'll not be fair to say “we”. Ok. many .NO. 'Some' got themselves involved in IIT preparation. Actually everyone other than students in IIT sections were given holidays for two months. But we were taken aback. We enjoyed a lot during those days when only three sections were in the campus. We had study hours in the top floor corridor. Our rooms were just beside that. We had to study up to 11-00 at night. Sometimes during exams we used to study until 12-00 too. But that’s only sometimes. Most of the time we stopped studying before 10-30. We just used to talk all the silly topics. Ghost stories were among them. Only the third floor and second floor were filled with students. First floor was vacant and the ground floor too. Some of the guys used to play cricket in those rooms at night. That sounds horrible.. Doesn’t it?? It does , at least for me. Playing cricket at the odd hours and that too in another room. During those days I heard of one ghost. One day I heard my friend talking about spirit game.. I already knew about that game from my oncologist sister who once said that it was true. My sister and her friends played this game in their school days. And one day some spirit told my sister about the next prime minister of India, I.K. Gujral. She didn’t know much politics then. But when the name of the prime minister was announced she was horror stricken. May be its also a story. But I don’t think a woman who has done specialisation in cancer treatment , says these kind of things. So they may be true. Coming back to college ,there was a rumour that a spirit of a guy of 18 was roaming in the college. His name was Nikku and he committed suicide because of failing in love. There were many rumours about him. From that day, at night nobody went alone to bathroom. Everybody moved in groups. It appears funny now. But I was also afraid then. Then came another rumour, that a girl in the their campus( gowtham gudavalli girls campus) was acting like a ghost. Every night at 12-00 she went near the bathrooms and was laughing aloud. One day her friend saw her laughing and went near her. She was shocked to see her face fully white without eyes and she shouted aloud. Then came the warden . She was about to see her when the electricity came into action. There was a short circuit and power was cut. The next day both the girls were high on fever. And that the girl who saw the ghost was trembling with fear and pleaded the people in the clinic to send her ghost friend away. I still can't understand why that ghost girl too was suffering from fever. Anyway we didn’t know whether all these were true. But they gave us a chill down the spine. This story , I heard it from pradeep who himself heard from another friend in girls campus. He started this story at 9-30 and ended at 11-30… the whole two hours he explained with different awful ex-pressions… I still remember them.
